After having gone through the family planning process, especially as a queer couple, I realized that it can be complicated and confusing. It would have been nice to have a person helping me along the way with evidence based info and just a lending ear when things got tough.
After having a birth doula with the birth of my first child in 2018, I realized just how much it means to have someone there to support you who is knowledgeable in birth.
After that experience I realized that becoming a doula was the path for me. With more research about becoming a doula, I realized that fertility is the area that I wanted to help families with. I wanted to help people to build their families in all shapes and ways and be confident in doing so. Especially with queer families and families that are going through the medical processes of IUI, IVF, etc.
I strive to provide supportive services to families and individuals with evidence based information along the way. To make sure that no matter what happens in your TTC (trying to conceive) journey, you will be ready!
